An Interactive Theorem Proving Assistant
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper describes WinKE, an interactive proof assistant, which is based on the KE calculus. The software has been designed to serve as a tutoring system supporting the teaching of logic and theorem proving through KE.

Integrating Automated and Interactive Theorem Proving
This paper highlights a project to integrate interactive and automated theorem proving in Software Veriication. Its aim is to combine the advantages of the two paradigms. We report on the integration concepts, and on the experimental results with a prototype implementation .
متن کاملAutomatic verification and interactive theorem proving
Sommario. Automatic verification deals with the validation by means of computers of correctness certificates. The related tools, usually called proof assistant or interactive provers, provide an interactive environment for the creation of formal certificates whose correctness can be assessed in a purely automatic way. Such systems have applications both in mathematics, where certificates are pr...
متن کاملUsing Yices as an automated solver in Isabelle/HOL
We describe our integration of the Yices SMT solver into the Isabelle theorem prover. This integration allows users to take advantage of the powerful SMT solving techniques within the interactive theorem proving environment of Isabelle, considerably increasing the automation level for a significant subset of Isabelle/HOL.
متن کاملA Comparison of MDG and HOL
Interactive formal proof and automated veri cation based on decision graphs are two contrasting formal hardware veri cation techniques. In this paper, we compare these two approaches. In particular we consider HOL and MDG. The former is an interactive theorem proving system based on higher-order logic, while the latter is an automatic system based on Multiway Decision Graphs. As the basis for o...
متن کاملAn Approach to Link HOL and MDG for Hardware Veri cation
In order to overcome the limitations of automated tools and the cumbersome proof process of interactive theorem proving, we adopt an hybrid approach for formal hardware veri cation by linking HOL and MDG. This approach uses the strengths of theorem proving (HOL) with its powerful mathematical tools such as induction and abstraction, and the advantages of automated tools (MDG) which support equi...
